Quality

The Testing and R&D Center of Jiangsu Zhongxin Pipe Sci-Tech Co., Ltd. has achieved CNAS laboratory accreditation (in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025), demonstrating comprehensive testing and quality control capabilities from raw materials to finished products. Supported by a rigorous quality assurance system and a robust traceability process, we ensure that every bimetallic composite pipe meets the requisite technical standards.

Our laboratory is equipped to perform a wide range of specialized tests independently, including chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, metallographic examination, corrosion testing, Positive Material Identification (PMI), and process performance evaluation, covering the entire production lifecycle of bimetallic composite pipes.

● Material Composition Verification (PMI) : PMI analyzers are employed to verify the chemical composition of the cladding layer on bimetallic composite pipes. Test data is stored in real-time and fully traceable, ensuring strict control over raw material compliance from the outset.


● Mechanical Property Testing: Utilizing universal testing machines, pressure testing machines, and impact testers, we perform tensile, flattening, and bending tests to confirm the mechanical strength and structural integrity of the bimetallic composite pipes.


● Hardness Testing: Both Vickers and Leeb hardness testers are used for destructive and non-destructive hardness evaluation of the pipe body and weld zones, ensuring hardness metrics align with specific service conditions.


● Corrosion Resistance Evaluation: Specialized tests, including salt spray, intergranular, pitting, crevice, and high-temperature/high-pressure corrosion assessments, comprehensively evaluate corrosion resistance, ensuring suitability for demanding environments in the oil & gas and chemical industries.


● Non-Destructive Testing (UT/RT/ET/VT) : An integrated approach using ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy current, and endoscopic eddy current techniques provides full coverage inspection of pipe inner/outer surfaces, welds, and cladding layers to accurately detect hidden defects.


● Wall Thickness & Dimensional Inspection: Ultrasonic thickness gauges precisely measure wall thickness, supplemented by specialized gauges for dimensional accuracy verification, ensuring compliance with specified tolerances.


● Hydrostatic Pressure Testing: Dedicated hydrostatic test equipment is used to assess the sealing integrity and pressure-bearing safety of the bimetallic composite pipes.


● Metallographic Examination: Metallurgical microscopes are utilized to analyze the microstructure of both the base metal and the cladding layer, providing critical data for ensuring material physical properties.


● Environmental Adaptability Testing: Tests such as pipe joint fatigue vibration and thermal cycling simulate operational environments to validate the long-term safety, reliability, and stability of the product in service.
